ISB2019 Travel Award Winners Announced

Congratulations goes to the following members who have received ANZSB Travel Awards to attend ISB2019 in Calgary, Canada later this year. Three-member panels were set-up to rank the abstracts according to the following criteria: significance of the research, rigour and technical innovation of the research methods, and the clarity of writing and presentation of the abstract.

We look forward to seeing the following award winners present at ISB2019!

Student Travel Award

Winner: Sarah Kessler, The University of Queensland

Title: The Role of the Midfoot in Lower Limb Energetics

Early-Mid Career Researcher Award

Winner: Jeroen Aeles, The University of Queensland

Title: Motor Unit Discharge Properties of m. flexor hallucis brevis

Both award winners will receive $500 to assist their travel and attendance to ISB2019. As part of the award guidelines, both presenters will acknowledge the assistance they have received from ANZSB in their presentation and also provide a conference report in the ANZSB newsletter following the conference.
